Il Sentiero della Bocca di Tifeo al Tramonto

Attraversando un sentiero in salita che costeggia antichi terrazzamenti di vitigni abbandonati,

tra alberi di leccio, erbe spontanee ed enormi massi di tufo modellati dalle erosioni naturali
prima e dall’uomo poi, giungeremo alla “Bocca di Tifeo”, affascinante bocca fumarolica scavata
tra la roccia di tufo con le sue emissioni di vapore acqueo a circa 115°C. Qui è possibile ammirare
il paesaggio sulla baia di Citara e sull’intero territorio del Comune di Forio. Raggiungeremo la
Tenuta Colella per gustare un aperitivo, ammirando un tramonto da sogno.

Crossing an uphill path that runs alongside ancient terraced vineyards, among holm oak trees, wild
herbs, and huge tuff boulders shaped by natural erosions first and then by humans, we will reach the
”Bocca di Tifeo,” a fascinating fumarolic vent carved into the tuff rock with its emissions of steam at about
115°C. Here, you can admire the landscape overlooking the Citara Bay and the entire territory of the
Municipality of Forio. We will reach Tenuta Colella to enjoy an aperitif while admiring a dreamy sunset.
